Calvary Christian School is a small, interdenominational school in the heart of the city. With an average class size of less than ten students, we have a unique opportunity to know our students and pursue what is best for them. Our desire is that, together with their parents and churches, we can model for them Christ's love and our commitment to honor Jesus in all we do. The many contributions by students you will find throughout this website reflect our belief that each student has been given to us by God and uniquely contributes to our family. We value each of them, and will do everything within our power to challenge them to put God first and educate with the tools they need for life. We offer scholarship programs to help meet this goal.

Although we realize that some may not pursue college, we want each of our graduates to be prepared for wherever they want to go. We take college trips to encourage them to consider Christian Colleges, and mission trips to focus them on God's purpose for their life. We primarily use ABeka curriculum because we have found it challenging, effective, and glorifying to God. We also use Bob Jones, Saxon, ACSI, and Houghton Mifflin curriculum for some subjects. The Calvary minimum graduation requirements exceed those of nearby public school districts, and most of our students go above and beyond our minimum requirements. We also encourage students to actively volunteer with local ministries and organizations, both through school organized service projects and on their own. We are very concerned that our students learn Biblical principles in their relationships, develop close friendships, and love being here as much as we do. God has greatly blessed us by allowing us to serve in this ministry.
